Are you ready to take your finance career to the next level? We are looking for a Senior Accounting Officer to join our dynamic team in Nicosia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the bookkeeping and maintenance of accounting records including budgeting and provision transactions in line with local legislation and international accounting standards
• Responsible for the preparation of payments and the execution of bank payments to ensure timely and accurate transactions
• Monthly preparation of TB and cash flow
• Preparation of all tax returns forms and VAT, monitoring of Intrastat, VIES
• Actively involved in the annual audit process
• Develop and maintain an efficient and organized filing system to ensure seamless access to important financial documents.
• Ensure that all financial information is recorded in a complete, accurate and timely manner
• Supporting the department with other accounting tasks to ensure smooth financial operations
• Provide comprehensive support to the Finance Senior Manager in day-to-day activities
• Collaborate on a variety of ad-hoc projects, driving innovation and efficiency within the finance department

Candidate Profile:

• University degree in Accounting and Finance or in a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a related field
• Previous experience in FMCG industry will be consider an advantage
• Good technology literacy
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
• Excellent organizational, analytical and time management skills
• Fluent in Greek and English (both verbal and written)
